What steps is the Minister taking to ensure faster response rates to casework within Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board?

Answered by Minister for Health and Social Services | Answered on 06/10/2023

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board receives around 30 cases every week from the 24 politicians representing North Wales. Many of the queries are highly sensitive, confidential and often require answers from frontline clinicians, who are treating patients, in both primary and secondary care. All information must be thoroughly checked before an answer is supplied. This can, at times, take longer than we would want, but providing a thorough response is paramount.
