Will the Minister provide a breakdown of funding for farming through the Basic Payment Scheme and Rural Investment Schemes in 2022/23, and provide the indicative budgets for farm funding in 2023/24 and 2024/25?

In 2022/23 £238m was provided through the 2022 Basic Payment Scheme and £6.882m though Rural Investment Schemes.
The latest budget for 2023/24 is as published in the 1st Supplementary Budget. The Cabinet are currently working to mitigate budget pressures. A further update will be provided to the Senedd once this work has been completed.
The Cabinet are currently considering budget allocations for 2024/25, and these will inform our draft budget which will be published in December.
