Will the Minister provide a detailed list of the 37 community groups in South Wales Central that are involved in flood-related activities, referenced during the Minister's response to the statement on the independent review and Natural Resources Wales reports into flooding 2020-21 on Tuesday 12 September?

NRW keep a list of flood plans. As of April 2022 there were 37 active community flood plans in south Wales.  11 of these were plans for communities based in South Wales Central:

Ely Bridge

Cardiff Council

Marlborough, Roath

Cardiff Council

Pontfaen

Cardiff Council

Rhiwbina

Cardiff Council

St Fagans

Cardiff Council

Talbot St, Riverside

Cardiff Council

Victoria Park

Cardiff Council

Waterloo, Roath

Cardiff Council

Robertstown

Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council

Treorchy

Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council

Ynysddu, Pontyclun

Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council

Community flood plans are not owned by NRW. They are owned, updated and managed by the communities. The groups may be responsible for more than one plan. NRW maintain a record of flood plans which helps them identify where they may be able to provide support.
