RAAC was identified in a canteen at Bryn y Neuadd hospital in North Wales, this area decommissioned in January 2022 and re-provided on site.
As set out in the Health Board’s published estates strategy, the hospital is not considered sustainable in its current form and consideration must be given to its role in the context of the key strategies of the Health Board. This site is one of several priorities the Health Board are considering, with no business case submitted to the Welsh Government in terms of longer-term plans for the site.
