Does the Welsh Government know the costings for undergrounding new electricity lines using cable ploughing compared to the costs for new overhead lines/pylons?

Welsh Government does not hold costs for all potential options for new electricity connections, which vary significantly in relation to the type of connection and location. We understand National Grid has commissioned an independent assessment of costs of a range of options for cables and lines, which is due to be published soon.
