How is the Welsh Government supporting the development and implementation of automated farming tools in Wales?
Support for developing and implementation of automated farming tools in farming is provided through the Small Grants – Efficiency and Nutrient Management Investment Schemes. Support offered through the Horticulture Development scheme also support investment in automation to enhance production and environmental efficiency within the horticultural sector.
An innovative package of delivery is also available through the Knowledge Transfer Programme Farming Connect, supporting the industry with the application of Agri-Tech and precision technology along with interpreting the data collected for aiding management decisions.
