What is the Welsh Government doing to develop skills and attract workers to the planning industry?

The Welsh Government undertakes a wide range of activities to develop the skills of existing planners and attract new people to the profession. Activities range from promoting planning as a profession to learners through school and university visits to providing detailed technical training for established professionals, helping them to comply with continuing professional development requirements. When delivering activities, we often work in partnership with the Royal Town Planning Institute and academic institutions.
