What assessment has the Welsh Government made of building safety in Wales following the publication of the Audit Wales report 'Cracks in the Foundations’ – Building Safety in Wales?

The Wales Audit report ‘Cracks in the Foundations’, was received on 31 July 2023. The report provides a robust evidence base on the effectiveness of local authority building control services. A full response to each recommendation will be provided to Audit Wales within 15 working days of publication of the report. As part of the response process discussions with local authorities are ongoing.
