What direction is being given to GPs in order to support first stage early sufferers of abdominal pain?

The National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) publish clinical guidance on investigations, diagnosis and treatment of clinical conditions associated with abdominal pain. I expect GPs to follow NICE clinical guidance and best practice in explaining investigations or possible clinical diagnosis, to any patient presenting with symptoms of abdominal pain.
