Will the Minister provide an update on how many apprenticeship opportunities have been created and completed thus far as part of the £366 million package for apprenticeships that was announced in February 2022?
Published official statistics on apprenticeship starts are currently available up to 31 October 2022.
Between 1 February 2022 and 31 October 2022 the Welsh Government delivered 15,430 apprenticeship starts. Many of the apprentices commencing their framework from February 2022 are expected to still be in learning.
Data for 1 August 2022 to 31 October 2022 is provisional until the publication of final statistics for the full 2022/23 academic year in February 2024.
Verified learner outcome statistics for the 2022/23 academic year will be available in March 2024.
