What is the Welsh Government doing to improve funding opportunities for grassroots Welsh music venues to support future artists and the talent pipeline?

Since its launch in 2020, Creative Wales has invested just under £9m in music venues, recording studios, rehearsal spaces and suppliers. Applications are currently being assessed for a new Music Capital Fund of £200,000 for live music venues with larger scale capital projects.
We are also funding a bespoke skills project run by the Music Venue Trust for Welsh grassroots venues to provide them with the tools for success.
