What effort has been made to publicise the Children’s Rights Wales Feedback and Complaints procedure to maximise access to it?

Answered by Deputy Minister for Social Services | Answered on 21/07/2023

Advice to children and young people on our complaints procedure is publicised through our designated Childrens Rights Information webpages, which are aimed directly at children and young people to inform them about their rights.  We have also produced a complaints leaflet for children to guide and support them through this process. They can complain using an online form, by email or telephone.

We also provide annual funding to Meic Cymru which is an Advocacy and Advice helpline for children and young people in Wales. MEIC is available to advise and provide information to children and young people, this would include advice for them on how to make complaints.
