Will the Minister provide an update on the Welsh Government's long-term plans around funding for the Bwcabus and Cardi Bach bus services?
My officials are working with officers from Carmarthenshire County Council and Ceredigion County Council on the short and mid-term funding position for these services.
I have asked Transport for Wales to work closely with both local authorities to identify how rural communities where these services operate can best be served in future, as part of the wider regional bus planning work which is underway.
This financial year, we have provided Welsh local authorities and bus operators with £42m in additional revenue funding to enable them to continue key bus services until the end of March 2024.
