How much total funding has the Welsh Government provided to the School Improvement Consortia Wales to date?

Since the National Model for Regional Working was established in April 2014 until the end of the 2022-23 financial year (9 years), Regional Consortia and Partnerships in Wales have received £1.237bn for school improvement purposes and £857m Pupil Development Grant funding. In the current 2023-24 financial year, £157m has been awarded for school improvement.
Over 80% of the funding received by Regional Consortia and Partnerships is delegated to schools.
Funding utilised by Regional Consortia and Partnerships accounts for approximately 1% of total education funding across Wales.
