What assessment has the Welsh Government made of the impact of the 20mph rollout on emergency service response times?

The Welsh Government has worked closely with the emergency services regarding the implementation of the 20mph speed limit. All were represented on the 20mph Task Force Group that made the recommendations as to how best to take this forward, and they have been involved throughout the implementation.
It is up to each service as to how much they exceed a speed limit when responding to an incident, as each has its own policy.
The emergency services monitor their own response times, so this is not something the Welsh Government would also monitor.
