What steps has the Welsh Government taken to support the development and deployment of AI technology in the agricultural industry?
Answered by Minister for Rural Affairs and North Wales, and Trefnydd | Answered on 27/06/2023
Further to my response to WQ87896, alongside the Minister for Economy, I have recently approved the Agri-Tech Action Plan for Wales. It has been developed following externally commissioned research, the expertise and contribution of a Welsh Government cross-divisional task and finish group, collaboration with stakeholders from industrial bodies, agricultural practitioners, and academic communities across Wales. The plan will be published shortly.
