What consideration is currently given to the war disablement pension as qualifying criteria for warm home grant applications in Wales?

The war disablement pension is not currently listed as a qualifying means tested benefit for the Warm Homes Programme, Nest Scheme.
I have recently published a suite of documents including a policy statement, which will inform the detailed design of the new Warm Homes programme. The policy statement sets out how we will set a low-income threshold, rather than basing eligibility solely on means tested benefits, to ensure we target our support to the poorest in society. I will also publish a tender specification for the procurement for the new, demand led scheme shortly.
