What steps is the Welsh Government taking to upskill Welsh-medium primary schools teachers so they are able to teach more complex topics in Welsh-medium secondary schools?

The Cynllun Pontio, which started in September 2020, is a conversion programme targeting teachers with Qualified Teacher Status to teach in the primary sector, to receive training and support in order to transfer successfully to teach in the secondary sector. The aim of the programme is to increase the number of Welsh-medium secondary teachers.
