What recent discussions has the Welsh Government had with stakeholders regarding the implementation of a gigafactory in Wales?

We continue to discuss the potential of a gigafactory location in Wales with the Department for Business and Trade. Bro Tathan, in particular, is one of only a small number of UK locations that could house an investment of such scale.
To ensure that Bro Tathan will be attractive and able to accommodate this type of investment, we are progressing a number of workstreams at the site. These include preparation of a planning application for development, significant investment into the upgrade of infrastructure, and extensive site investigation works to ensure the site will be a strong contender.
