Results from the Housing, England and Wales: Census 2021 were published in 2022. These results contain recent and detailed data on the type of heating in homes in Wales.
The census data has breakdowns within several categories including type of household and rural/urban definitions and therefore gives us an up-to-date picture of the domestic heating situation in Wales.
