What is the Minister doing to ensure a broad range of individuals and groups contribute to the consultation on improvement rates relief?
The Welsh Government’s consultation on proposals for a non-domestic rates improvement relief was launched on 16 May. My officials have contacted a wide range of stakeholders, including business representative bodies, non-domestic rating experts, and local authority practitioners, to bring the consultation to their attention and invite their views.
We will also promote the consultation through relevant channels, including on our Business Wales webpages.
I welcome all engagement with the consultation and encourage responses from a wide range of stakeholders to help inform the development of proposals, prior to the closing date of 8 August.
