Will the Minister publish a schedule for the rollout of the NHS Wales app?
On the 17th of April I announced via a Written Statement the public availability of the NHS Wales App. On the 9th May I made an Oral Statement to the Senedd on the launch of the NHS Wales App.
The programme has an existing large list of features that are earmarked for development within the App. This list will change over time as features are delivered and as new ones are identified. The prioritisation of these features is influenced by a number of factors including user need, Health/Social Care service need, policy priority etc. This approach of working in an iterative way is in line with industry best practice (also demonstrated by the development and rollout of the NHS England App), so allowing flexibility of development. Of course, this also results in any published schedule becoming quickly out of date as priorities evolve over time.
