Will the Cardiff Bay to Cardiff Central extension require on-street running of the Class 398?

The Class 398 Metro Vehicle is planned to be used on-street as part of the extension. The vehicle has been procured to be capable of on-street running without modification, and is currently used elsewhere in the UK on the Sheffield Super-Tram network as a tram-train.
