With the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 scheme closing at the end of 2023, what proportion of the funds remains unspent and, of that, what is the value of the EU funding element and what is the value of the domestic co-financing element?

The Rural Development Programme spend to 31 March 2023 is £741.23m of the total programme value of £842.03m.  This means there remains £100.80m (11.97%) to be spent, of which £57.51m is EU funding and £43.29m is Welsh Government domestic co-financing. Please note the sterling value of the programme is not fixed due to constant fluctuations of the exchange rate.
