Will the Minister confirm how much funding they have provided specifically for green walls in 2022-23?

Our Transforming Towns programme is providing £100m over three years (2022-25) across Wales and includes our Placemaking grant which is administered by local authorities. The Placemaking grant supports a broad variety of potential interventions, including the enhancement or provision of green infrastructure in town centres, which supports a number of Programme for Government commitments. We encourage green infrastructure in all proposals for Placemaking support, including green walls. Projects should be underpinned by a place plan for a town, which should detail green infrastructure requirements.
