Further to WQ87656, how many of these meetings with the Royal College of Midwifery were to discuss strike action and pay reform?

I value having regular contact with the various health trade unions in NHS Wales and I meet with the Health Trade Unions as a business committee, which includes the Royal College of Midwifery (RCM), on a quarterly basis.

In these quarterly meetings, the Trade Unions have raised a range of issues including NHS pay. In addition to these quarterly meetings, I have also met with the Business Committee twice on the outcome of strike ballots.

In addition to the above meetings, I also have also met with the Director for RCM Wales every six months to discuss professional issues only. I was also invited to be the keynote speaker at the RCM conference in October when it was held in Newport.
