Information on educational qualifications of care leavers in Wales is no longer collected by Welsh Government. Published data up to 2015-16 is available on StatsWales.
The Children Looked After Census includes the unique pupil number for children in care and is available in the SAIL databank where it can be linked to education datasets by approved researchers.
Welsh Government collects data annually on whether care leavers have completed at least three consecutive months of employment, education or training in the 12 months since leaving care. This is published on StatsWales.
