Will the Minister provide an update on all the eight points of action agreed at the River Pollution Summit held at the Royal Welsh Show in 2022?
The First Minister will be reconvening the River Pollution Summit to take stock of work against the eight areas of intervention agreed at the first Summit and to drive progress in implementing sustainable solutions that will improve water quality in our rivers. The Summit has been scheduled on 8 March 2023.
Following the Summit, the First Minister will be announcing an Action Plan to reduce nutrient concentrations to relieve the pressure on housing and development and meet the needs of the people and communities of Wales. The Action Plan will be published on the Welsh Government website as well as any supporting information from the Summit.
