Will the Minister confirm what requirements are set for an organisation to receive funding to host their events in Wales?

In line with the Welsh Government’s event strategy applications for funding are assessed against a wide range of measures. For example, potential to raise the profile of Wales in key markets, potential to deliver positive economic impact, delivering geographical and seasonal spread and attracting additional visitors to Wales. Any funding that is agreed will include agreed targets which are assessed, post-event.
