What consideration has the Welsh Government given to Dr Kirkup's report into maternity services in Swansea Bay Health Board?

Dr Bill Kirkup’s report was commissioned by Swansea Bay University Health Board to investigate the handling of complaint by the Community Children’s Nursing Service, relating to one individual family. We are aware of the issues raised in this report regarding maternity services. As they were specific to one family, it would be inappropriate to comment further. Officials have met with the family to better understand the issues raised in the report and are working with them and Swansea Bay University Health Board to agree next steps.
