Is the Welsh Government collecting and publishing an annual assessment of building safety in our national network of schools?

As part of the Sustainable Communities for Learning Programme the Welsh Government collects and reviews condition data on an annual basis. Although this information does relate to general safety it is a local authority duty to assess safety risks for all buildings within its school estate. We expect local authorities to prioritise funding from annual budgets to ensure their schools are safe and continue to meet health and safety requirements.
