What support is the Welsh Government providing to local authorities to tackle illicit dog breeders in Wales?

The Welsh Government has funded a project to enhance Local Authorities enforcement capability, through enhancement of training, better guidance for inspectors and improved use of existing resources within Local Authorities. Officers are working closely with the Government Agency Intelligence Network (GAIN) coordinator and the police in order to impact upon the organised criminality involved in dog breeding.
