What action is the Welsh Government taking to reduce self-harm amongst homeless people?

In 2022/23 we doubled our funding to Area Planning Boards to £2m to strengthen links between housing, mental health and substance misuse services which includes out-reach, early intervention and wrap around support. This funding will further increase over the following two years to £4.5m by 2024/25.
Our Together for Mental Health Strategy and our Suicide and Self-Harm Prevention Strategy are cross-government and recognise the importance of the wider determinants that are protective of good mental health.
We have also convened a new cross-Government Suicide and Self-Harm Prevention group to drive cross-Government working.
