How much has the Welsh Government invested so far in the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol and the National Centre for Learning Welsh this year?
For 2022-23 I am investing £8.888 million in the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol, which includes an additional £1.500 million to increase the amount of Welsh-medium delivery in the apprenticeship and further education sector. This additional investment is being carried out in collaboration with Cefin Campbell MS, the Plaid Cymru lead designated member, as part of the Co-operation Agreement between the Welsh Government and Plaid Cymru.
£13.465 million is being invested in the National Centre for Learning Welsh for 2022-23. This includes recurrent funding of £8.786 million and £2.500 million for the delivery of the Cymraeg Gwaith programme, which funds a range of training and support aimed at getting more people to speak Welsh in the workplace.
