The public should be assured that arrangements will be made with RCN Wales to ensure there will be levels of staffing to ensure life-saving and life-maintaining care being provided during any industrial action.
Health boards are now focused on understanding the specific implications of industrial action in their services and putting in place contingency plans.
Health boards will of course communicate in advance to patients where services are impacted.
