The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) (also known as the furlough scheme) was introduced and managed by the UK Government which has recently published an interim evaluation https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-coronavirus-job-retention-scheme-interim-evaluation
The Welsh Government provided several generous business support packages providing more than £1.7bn, equivalent to 2.6% of our GVA, which complemented UK schemes such as the CJRS.
