Will the First Minister provide a list of individuals and groups that the Welsh Government have met with regarding the decision to go to Qatar for the football World Cup?
The Welsh Government has met with a wide range of stakeholders, including the Football Association of Wales, UK Government, Rainbow Wall, International Trade Union Confederation, Welsh Centre for International Affairs, the Qatari Ambassador to the UK, the International TUC and the UK Ambassador to Qatar.
We have been proud to lead ‘TeamCymru22’, a collective Welsh effort to plan all activity in and around the World Cup. A much wider set of stakeholders has been a part of that team including Urdd Gobaith Cymru, BBC, S4C, ITV, Arts Council Wales, Wales Arts International, South Wales Police, National Museum Wales, Cardiff Airport, Global Wales, Welsh National Opera, Cardiff University, Sport Wales and the British Council.
