Will the Minister provide the reasons why there are intermittent planned road closures on the Heads of the Valleys road over the next 18 months?

A Temporary Traffic Road Order (TTRO) is a requirement on any project for the duration of construction and maintenance periods where road closures are necessary to enable construction works to be undertaken safely. A new order has been issued as the previous one had expired.
At present, there are no closures scheduled. Future closures will continue to be advertised via the project’s social media channels and email alert service and through the Traffic Wales web site. They will provide descriptions of the works which will be carried out along with the planned division routes.
