Following on from WQ86496, what are the reasons for student placement nurses dropping off their courses, and how much money does them dropping out cost the Welsh Government?

There are clearly different personal reasons for student nurses having to leave their courses, however we do not hold this data. The costs associated with those leaving their courses is currently unavailable, however we have asked colleagues in Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) to provide this data as soon as possible. Once this information is available, we will provide the detail via written correspondence.
