Will the Minister clarify whether targeted interventions at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd includes the aim of improving the average waiting time for stroke patients to receive a scan?

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is in targeted interventions for service performance related issues.  Whilst stroke is not part of targeted intervention, it is part of overall assessment like all measures in the framework, and we would expect there to be improvements consequently as a result of the actions being put in place.

My officials work closely with colleagues in the NHS Delivery Unit where there is an established process in place to assess the Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme data.  This includes identifying and resolving any issues with the integrity or completeness of the submitted data.
