Will the Welsh Government call in the decision taken by Cardiff Council’s cabinet to lease part of Hailey Park to Dwr Cymru for the construction of a sewage pumping station?

Councils are democratically elected bodies with statutory powers and duties to exercise certain functions. The decision to lease part of Hailey Park is a matter for the Council and its Cabinet and we, as Welsh Ministers, do not have any powers to ‘call in’ those decisions.
