How much money has the Books Council of Wales given to Corgi Cymru?

£60,000 has been paid to Corgi Cymru to date for the period April to October 2022 to deliver the Welsh language digital news service during that period. In line with the service contract, the final outcome will be confirmed following Newsquest’s consultation with staff. The Welsh Government is discussing next steps with the Books Council regarding future funding arrangements for the Welsh language digital news service.
