Will the Welsh Government be able to recoup any of the money it invested into the now defunct Corgi Cymru, invested via the Books Council of Wales?

No in advance payments were invested into Corgi Cymru by the Books Council of Wales. The £60,000 paid in monthly instalments to Corgi Cymru to date by the Books Council of Wales was paid for services provided, and covered salary costs paid to staff and freelancers for delivery of the Welsh language digital news service for the period April to October 2022.
