Will the First Minister list the names of any companies the Welsh Government uses for advice on where to place advertisements?
The Welsh Government has a contract in place to procure media buying services. The current contract was awarded to Golley Slater in August 2022 and runs until January 2026. This contract is used to purchase media where the creatives already exist – such as continuation of an existing campaign, placing of legal statutory notices or recruitment advertisements.
There are also twelve agencies on the Integrated Marketing Campaigns and PR Services Framework. These agencies provide a full service for campaigns, which includes purchasing any media required for those campaigns. The agencies are:
