What is the Welsh Government doing to support remembrance events this year?

Answered by Deputy Minister for Social Partnership | Answered on 27/09/2022

In Wales we recognise the invaluable contribution the Armed Forces, their families, and our veterans, make to our country and the sacrifices made through the generations in helping to keep us safe. The Remembrance period allows people from all faiths, cultures and backgrounds to remember the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community.

Each year, we work closely with the military and partners such as The Royal British Legion to support acts of Remembrance across Wales. This year as a Government, we will support the Wales Festival of Remembrance, the Field of Remembrance and the National Service of Remembrance held on Remembrance Sunday.
