How many solar farms have been refused planning permission each year between 2017 and 2022?

The Welsh Government does not hold data on the determination of all solar farm planning applications. Schemes under 10mw are determined by local planning authorities. Schemes above 350mw are determined by UK Ministers.
Solar farm proposals between 10mw and 350mw, known as Developments of National Significance, are determined by Welsh Ministers. Since 2017 there have been 7 such solar farm planning applications, 3 of which were refused. A detailed breakdown of figures is below:
