Does the Government have any plans to support those in the 2019/2020 Arbed Scheme to increase their solar power storage capability?
The Home Energy Efficiency Scheme (HEES) Regulations 2010, does not permit households who have benefitted from measures under either the Arbed or Nest schemes, to receive additional measures at the same property through a further application.
The consultation on the next iteration of the Warm Homes Programme sought views on the current regulation and option for multiple applications. I am expecting the consultation responses and proposed policy direction for my consideration soon.
In the meantime, solar PV with storage is being introduced to the current Nest contract as measures for new applications subject to a whole house assessment.
