What action is the Welsh Government taken to ensure rail travel between North Wales and London is affordable and reliable?
Rail services between North Wales and London are operated by Avanti West Coast and are the responsibility of the UK Government.
The current level of services being operated by Avanti West Coast, including the removal of direct trains between North Wales and London, is unacceptable for passengers in North Wales. The UK Government must urgently work with Avanti West Coast to resolve the issues and bring back the full pre-covid timetable.
Transport for Wales have returned to a pre-covid level of services, including in North Wales and will introduce the first of their brand new fleet of trains on services in North Wales later this month.
