What assistance does the Welsh Government provide for local football clubs in Wales to purchase new playing surfaces such as 3G?

Our investment in community 3G football and artificial pitches is being led by Sport Wales as part of the £24m of capital funding from Welsh Government over the next three financial years. Sport Wales administers two main schemes that can be accessed by local football clubs to help purchase new playing surfaces, which include ‘Crowdfunder – A Place for Sport’ and the ‘Be Active Wales Fund’.
