Further to question WQ85665, will the Minister clarify further how a project in the city of Cardiff can be approved for funding from a rural fund given that Cardiff is an urban area?

Wales is a small country with a mix of rural and urban land types and usages in all our geographical and administrative areas. For the Wales Rural Development Programme (RDP) 2014-2020 the Welsh Government defined ‘rural’ as being the area covered by all local authorities in Wales. This geographic scope includes urban areas of Cardiff.
